Mailing costs range from $0.82 – $1.24 (plus postage). All quotes are calculated based on the number of recipients. 

All e-filing is done using 1099FIRE’s transmitter control code (TCC), eliminating the hassle of obtaining an account with Business Services Online.

What We Handle For You

When you outsource W-2s to us, our team will:

  • Import your employee wage data from Excel

  • Validate and balance totals against your W-3 information

  • Generate employee W-2 copies (PDFs for download; optional print-and-mail service)

  • Create the electronic EFW2 file in SSA-approved format

  • Transmit W-2 and W-3 data electronically to the SSA on your behalf

  • Provide confirmation when the file is accepted, or help resolve issues if the SSA flags anything

You click a button within the PropertyBoss software to transmit data to 1099FIRE. We are also notified by e-mail when data is ready. We work quickly and typically address your data within 0-1 days of receipt.

1099FIRE will prepare and e-mail you Copy B of the 1099-MISC or 1099-NEC for review. We will also forward a list of potential errors that our software detects during import and after the electronic file is created. This gives you an excellent opportunity to stop and make any last minute changes to your data.

Once the PDF is approved by you we will file electronically to the IRS and forward the IRS receipt that we receive within 3-5 business days letting you know your file status.
