How many licenses do I receive with my purchase?

One license per purchase.

How much is one additional license?

$39 per additional license if you purchased a license for paper filing.  $99 per additional license for customers who purchased 1099 software with FIRE.

Can I install the software on a network?

All of our software functions on any Windows operating system. The software has been tested on Windows 95, 98, 2000, NT, ME (millennium edition), XP, 2003 and VISTA. The software functions on networks or stand-alone personal computers and is compatible with all printers.

Can I install the software on a Macintosh operating system?

Maybe.  All of our software is designed to function on a Windows-based operating system.  There exists emulators, such as Fusion, which let you run Windows-based software on a Macintosh operating system. If you have that type of program installed, you can run our software as well.

How quickly can I get the passcode to activate the software?

We have a friendly and courteous staff that is available all day, Monday through Friday, and checks e-mail at night and on weekends and will provide a passcode as quickly as we can, usually the same day that the software was purchased. From January till April 15, we work hard to staff the phones late into the night and on weekends.

I got a new computer. How do I transfer my registration from my old computer to my new computer?

Your first need to unregister the software from the current machine.  To do this, go to Help/Return License and the software will display a return authorization number.  Then download and install the software on your other machine and email us the user ID for that new machine, and the return authorization number from the old computer and we will generate a passcode and email it back.

How long is the registration valid for?

For the current tax year.

What is the cost for upgrading?

Difference in cost.  Lets say you purchase the 1099-OID for paper filing at $69.95 and later decide that you want to upgrade to the 1099 with FIRE at $199.95.  Upgrading is just the difference in cost, which in this case would be $130 (=$199.95 - $69.95).  Just call our sales office at (480) 460-9311 and they can process this upgrade and provide a passcode that opens up these other features.

What is the cost for renewing the software with next year's version?

$49 for paper filing
$89 for renewing FIRE
$199 for renewing a 5-user license (in house, in network 5 user license)
