If you need an IRS FIRE password reset, there are two simple ways to recover your login credentials.

Use the “Forgot Password” feature
- Go to the FIRE System login page and click Forgot Password.
- Enter your User ID and the email address linked to your account.
- Follow the instructions in the email to reset your password.
Contact the FIRE Help Desk
- If you cannot reset your password online, call the FIRE Help Desk at 866-455-7438.
- Be prepared to verify your identity before they reset your credentials.

We do not have our pw and secret phrase it will not let us reset our pw without the secret phrase? help. this is our first year to efile forms our Tcc # is 18417 my email on file is snclifton@sbcglobal.net contact name is Jennifer Henry

  Go back to the site fire.irs.gov and click on Create New Account. If the TCC is valid and active, then you can
  create a new username, password and pin. The TCC, if active, is the golden ticket.

I have a TCC and I completed an application last year, but when I try to enter all the pertinent information it says the company does not exist.
I tried resetting my password, that did not work either.

I'd tried a competitor but have never changed since trying 1099Fire. They PICK UP THE PHONE and help with issues. I've tried both outsourcing to them (ACA reporting) and doing it myself, using their software. I went back to outsourcing, seeing how much time it can take to fix errors, how many complications can arise, and how much the IRS can F__k you for getting this wrong. Highly recommend 1099Fire!
