IRS established the Combined Federal/State Filing Program to simplify information returns filing for the taxpayer. IRS/MCC will forward original and corrected information returns to participating states free of charge for approved filers. Separate reporting to those states is not necessary.

- Meets IRS and SSA regulations
The IRS FIRE system is updated each year and the software is modified to fully comply with Publication 1220 (for the 1099's) and Publication 1187 (for the 1042-S).
1099's and 1042-S are submitted to the IRS. The W-2's are a little different in that you submit those forms to the Social Security Administration (SSA). SSA has red-ink W-2 forms which you can print data onto and submit. SSA also has substitute black-and-white Copy A forms which you can print out on plain paper and includes a unique vendor identification number. Like other vendors, we submit substitute Copy A forms to the SSA each year and they review (and approve) and calibrate for scanning our forms.

All of our software functions on any Windows operating system. The software has been tested on Windows 95, 98, 2000, NT, ME (millennium edition), XP, 2003, VISTA and Windows 7. The software functions on networks or stand-alone personal computers and is compatible with all printers.
The software will run on a Macintosh if any version of Windows is installed.
