What safety or precautions do you use so that the information on the 1099’s and W-2’s are kept confidential? How does one know that the import to the IRS or State was actually done? Is there a confirmation number assigned to each import? Also, does this software work for importing W-2’s to each state? Safety and accuracy is highly important. Please respond. Thanks

Our 1099 software will create the file in a format that the IRS will accept
and you can transmit directly to the IRS. We are the only software vendor that
does this; the other vendors have you transmit the data to them and then they
efile to the IRS and charge you per record that you efile.

We can also efile on your behalf using our TCC number. You upload your data
to our secure server on sharefile and we can access that data, convert and
then efile and then delete your data. We dont efile W-2.

    > How does one know that the import to the IRS or State was actually done?

You get a receipt from the IRS showing the file status.

    > Is there a confirmation number assigned to each import?

We set up an account number for each file we work with.

    We dont efile W-2’s.
